4.1 Understanding the Skill

Now that you understand the concepts of the ABC’s of Behavior and Observe and Describe let’s
move on to Role-playing.

Role-playing allows you and your child to practice scenarios so children know what is expected
of them in a given scenario. Children that role-play are able to handle situations better. This
includes situations they have never encountered before. Watch the video lesson.
